A year has come and gone since the launch of our Green Sunrise growth strategy took off and a lot has happened since. During July 2019, our strategy reached Shenzhen, China with the opening of a brand new representative office, headed by TP Aerospace's Business Development, Christina Wang. Here's a little recap of our expansion into China.
The initial phase of the China project began in 2018 along the launch of the Green Sunrise growth strategy which builds on the premises that proximity, and a key local point of contact between TP Aerospace and key players in the market are essential to sustain the rapid growth in the country.
“The Chinese market is forecasted to more than double in the next 10 years, and looking at the global fleet during the same period, China is expected to account for more than 30% of the global growth” explains Matthew Pun, Director of Sales and Business Development at TP Aerospace, and continues “With figures like these, combined with our own solid experience and knowledge of the Chinese market, there is no doubt that we see great potential in the country, and that we, with our business model, can provide great value and support to both smaller and larger airlines in China”.
The new representative office is headed by Christina Wang, Business Development Manager, who has been with TP Aerospace since early 2019 and played a key role in TP Aerospace’s entry into China. Ms. Wang’s focus will be on establishing and implementing strategies to target the market, as well as on providing customer service and supporting the strong relationship to the company’s customers in the region.
“The new office is a solid set up, with a strong business development focus, that allows us to analyze sale opportunities in the market, with new and existing customers in the region. Furthermore, it enables the company to provide excellent customer service. I am confident that we will keep seeing positive results in this region for years to come.” Says Director of Sales and Business Development, Matthew Pun.
